Safety

Vehicles in public transportation should, above all, be safe. Therefore even in development of go4city-Trains particular attention was paid to safety.

Various items of safety equipment of the GÖPPEL TRAINs have been developed or improved to guarantee safe trailer operation:

• Of course towing vehicle as well as trailer is equipped with ESP, ABS, EBS and ECAS in series
  
• By means of the wide-angle mirror system – in combination with the fully-automated, operating-mode independent video monitoring the driver can not only observe the interior of the trailer but also the area behind and besides the vehicle. This not only guard against accidents with passengers and passerbys but also vandalism.
  
   
  
• For avoiding passerbys to enter into the space between towing vehicle and trailer innately, the space between the vehicles is secured by a barriercourse towing vehicle as well as trailer is equipped with ESP, ABS, EBS and ECAS in series
  
• Drive-off lock, reflectors and working spotlights, a back-lash-free and damped trailer coupling and the electronic steering monitoring rounds off the safety features
  
  
  
• In emergency, passengers in the trailer can use the integrated communication equipment to contact the driver directly – and of course, vice a versa.
